Galgo nace en Barcelona en septiembre del 2008.
Yetta (Juan Pablo Solari/ voz & guitarra)) con un puñado de canciones bajo la manga se reune con Sergio Godoy (guitarra), Felix Ovalle (bateria) y Luca Napoli (bajo) para dar vida a este sensible, nostágico, habil y veloz animal. La conexión es inmediata, las canciones toman forma casi instantaneamente; GALGO decide grabar 6 canciones en directo para rescatar el sonido crudo, real y actual de la banda (canciones que pueden ser escuchadas en www.myspace.com/galgosound). Las influencias se pasean desde los Beatles, Stone Roses, BRMC, Love & Rockets, Soda Stereo hasta Raveonettes. GALGO got together in Barcelona in the middle of 2008. The band was formed by Yetta (Juan Pablo Solari), brave enough to head up this irrepressible but sensitive animal; with a handful of songs under its belt, GALGO creates powerful melodies and a sound set apart by sharp guitars and light, explosive compositions. With Sergio Godoy on guitar, Felix Ovalle on drums, Luca Napoli on bass and Yetta on lead vocals and guitar, GALGO is brought to life in Barcelona, ready to take to the stage and deliver its best tunes at the opportune moment. At the end of 2008, the group recorded six live songs that capture its current sound: “LOVE KILLS”, Live Sessions 1. GALGO lives and breathes for playing live; what it does best, at the heart of everything… The group already has various gigs lined up in and outside of Spain.
